Automapa selects NAVTEQ maps to compliment their map of Poland.2008-11-07 NAVTEQ to provide coverage for 43 countries. The producers of AutoMapa, the leading Polish system for GPS navigation and a joint product by Aqurat and Geosystems Polska, have signed an agreement with NAVTEQ, a global leading provider of digital map data for location-based solutions and vehicle navigation. The agreement concerns delivering map data for subsequent AutoMapa software versions covering 44 European countries. Map data by NAVTEQ will be used in AutoMapa Europe software for 43 European countries. The maps of Poland in AutoMapa will still be based solely on data by GEOSYSTEMS Polska Sp. z o.o.
